MHX Rod Blank Limited Warranty

MHX warrants its rod blanks against defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period when used normally for their intended application.

All MHX warranty claims, payments, and customer service are handled by Mud Hole Custom Tackle: Contact Info. Please direct all warranty questions and correspondence to Mud Hole.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in the materials or workmanship of the MHX rod blank itself. Coverage is limited to repair or replacement of the qualifying rod blank, subject to the warranty service fees below.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Rod components, including guides, tip tops, grips, handles, or reel seats.

• Labor or expenses associated with removing components, rebuilding a rod, or installing components on a replacement blank.

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, tampering, or use outside the blank’s intended application.

• Damage caused by repairs or alterations. Having work performed by someone other than the MHX Warranty Department does not, by itself, void coverage for an unrelated defect.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your MHX rod blank qualifies for warranty service:

1. Complete the warranty form. Download the MHX Warranty Form.

2. Prepare the damaged section. Cut the blank approximately 4 inches on each side of the failure, retaining the damaged area for inspection. If the location or extent of the damage prevents this, contact Mud Hole before cutting.

3. Remove any guides attached to the sections being returned.

4. Package the sections securely in a padded envelope or suitable shipping container, protecting any sharp or exposed ends.

5. Include the completed form and payment, or indicate that you would like Mud Hole to contact you for credit card payment.

6. Ship your package, postage prepaid, to:

Warranty Service Fees

• United States: $25.00 USD

• Outside the United States: $45.00 USD

The warranty service fee includes standard shipping and handling of the replacement blank to you. Shipping the damaged sections to Mud Hole is your responsibility.

Additional shipping charges apply to blanks over 8 feet. For claims involving Russia, contact Mud Hole before shipping to confirm service availability and obtain a shipping quote.

Checks and money orders should be payable to Mud Hole Custom . Major credit cards are also accepted. If payment is not included, Mud Hole will contact you to arrange credit card payment.

Claim Evaluation

The MHX Warranty Department at Mud Hole will inspect the returned sections to determine whether the failure resulted from a covered defect in materials or workmanship during the applicable warranty period.

If your claim qualifies, your rod blank will be repaired or replaced, subject to the applicable warranty service fee and additional shipping charges described above.

Limitations and Your Legal Rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the remedy under this limited warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the rod blank. MHX is not responsible under this warranty for incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the blank.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Updates to These Terms

Warranty terms may be updated for future purchases. Changes will not reduce the warranty coverage applicable to a rod blank already purchased.
